I wonder if novels audio books are useful in order to improve my English?

Do you believe that reading a book and listening on the same time the audio book can benefits someone who needs to improve his English? For example I am reading Cold Fire from Dean Koontz using an ebook but I also purchased the audio book of Cold Fire that way I can read the book and listen to the pronunciation of each word. Do you believe it is an advantage or just a waste of time??

My level is between intermediate and advanced , I can speak much better than I write. ThanksI wonder if novels audio books are useful in order to improve my English?
I think reading the book while listening to the audio (so you can hear how the words are supposed to sound and be pronounced) is a fabulous way to improve your English skills!

Best of luck to you, dear.I wonder if novels audio books are useful in order to improve my English?
It can help you with pronounciation, and perhaps in learning the language

But it won't teach you what the words mean, nor will it teach you about context as well as a book on how to learn English will. So if you want to be a master of The English language in ten years, then read. If you want to be a master of the English language in a year or two, then read helpful books.I wonder if novels audio books are useful in order to improve my English?
