As a former torrent pirate, I can't in good faith recommend any of the unfortunately abundant "100% free" illegal sources for audio book downloads. I can appreciate if you choose that path. Especially when finances are tight, "free" is such a tantalizing word.
I do encourage you to take a moment to think about that decision before acting. Even if we completely set aside the potential (albeit unlikely) legal consequences, the ethical case for pirating copyrighted information is dubious at best.
I can only speak from my personal experience. Over time I came to realize that through pirating music, books, movies, and TV shows, I was compromising my personal values just to save a few bucks. The truth is that it is the small inconsistencies between "what we feel is most important," and "what we do actually do," that become an enormous psychological burden slowly degrading our overall quality of life.
I've come to feel very strongly that every artist, author, researcher, and performer in the world has an inalienable right to be rewarded for their contributions. I know that if I put my heart and soul into a novel like Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, I would certainly not appreciate my work being given away, especially after the Midnight Sun incident. I'm sure Mrs. Meyer is financially secure, but one's assets are largely irrelevant to self-evident principles.
The good news? They aren't that expensive. Ask to borrow your parents' credit card and check out the website below for some great deals on the audio books.
