IPod or MP3? If I want to download audio books, which would be the better choice?

I don't really have a need for portable music, but would like portable audio books. The mp3 players are the size of an ipod, but much less costly. Are they a better choice for an audio book that I can download? I am a driver for 3 disabled people to take them to appointments and some of these are very long.IPod or MP3? ipod. don't waiste your time getting something else. ipods can download audiobooks.
