It kind of makes me feel weird. What do u do when you are listening to Audio books?
Since I mostly listen to audio books while driving, no, I don't close my eyes :)
I listen to audiobooks when I'm doing anything else that would allow me to concentrate on the story. That would include exercise (if I ever did any) because exercise requires no real brain power (which is why I find it so boring).
I listen to audiobooks when I've got something long and boring to do that doesn't need much mental concentration. So, sometimes when I'm walking to and from work, or doing something in the house like a pile of ironing or clearing out a wardrobe. I recently painted my living room and I listened to an audiobook when I did that. On the rare occasions that I do something craft-related, like making something or drawing or whatever, I listen to audiobooks then as well.
The only time I listen them when I'm doing nothing else is when I can't sleep and I listen to one while I'm trying to doze off. What do u do when you are listening to Audio books?
I am often on twitter of yahoo answers when listing to book or in the car.
I am not too distracted in the car but if it is really good I sometime miss an exit.
I listen to podiobooks.com books on my MP3 player with one earbud when walking or at work.
I sometimes listen to books I have already heard when trying to sleep then I close my eyes but I don't close my eyes when walking or driving.
I have to turn it off if I want to read anything longer than a short question or twitter postWhat do u do when you are listening to Audio books?
Lie down with my eyes closed or play mindless online games. Nothing that will distract me too much.
If I'm travelling I just stare out of the window. I now have mental images of my journey to my Dad's associated with Jane Austen's Emma from listening to the audiobook on the train. :)
yes,i close my eyes!
